Bruce Borden
| MA, MBA
Bruce has been “officially” involved in the residential construction industry since 1989, although his got his first taste for home renovations as a 10 year old, when his parents built their home in Montreal. He went on to attend the University of Western Ontario, and has lived in Toronto since 1983.
Bruce is an active member of the Toronto Home Builders Association, including being honored with their prestigious “Renovator of the Year” award. As president of Walden Design Build, Inc. Bruce has successfully guided hundreds of homeowners through the planning and building of their custom homes and renovations (click here to see our Gallery).
When he’s not building homes, Bruce spends his time snowboarding and playing (lots of) golf.

Danny Morris
Danny spent nine years in the home improvement industry in Ottawa before moving to Toronto in 1995. He started working with Walden as renovation production coordinator, applying his well-honed organizational skills to our process. Danny is now a partner in Walden.
Danny and his wife and their 2 young children (with dog Ellie) live in a Walden custom-built home in North Toronto. He tries to spend as much time as he can at the Muskoka cottage and is well-known on the lake to be the first one out water skiing at day break.

Nick Rupa
Nick started working with Walden in 1997 and today is responsible for our site project coordination. He is able to apply a tremendous amount of hands-on experience about building and renovating homes that he’s gained over the past 45 years since coming to Canada from Italy in 1959.
Nick learned the trade in his hometown of Fossacesia, Italy and he worked building and restoring woodwork in churches throughout Italy.

Vickie Betts
Vicki started working with Walden in 1995 as office manager. Vicki looks after all of our office and project administration.
Walden clients all agree that it is hard to find anyone that can match the kindness, helpfulness and dedication to each and every task that Vicki undertakes.
She spends much of her spare time working with her husband in his custom furniture and cabinetry business.
